The time and place I'm from - American culture, I mean - is pretty fond of saying that children shouldn't have any worries until they're finished with school, when they're ready to head out into the world on their own. That the older generation, whether it's family or teachers or some other support system, should be the ones making sure that they're safe and happy and all their needs are met. So to see someone your age taking on so much responsibility and worry, not just for yourself but everyone else ... on some level I feel like you're being denied the chance to have a childhood.

I know it's extremely likely you don't feel that way, just because you had to ask me to explain, but. Well. There you have it, I suppose.

I mean I guess that's something that makes sense... :0 It's sort of different here though where it's a lot more dangerous though. Here, I've been here a whole bunch longer, so while I played a lot and learned a lot, there's also just a lot that I have to warn everyone about more...it's ummmm...

I guess it's like, it's not anyone older's fault that they don't just know everything, because they weren't here that whole time, so it'd be sort of silly to expect that. :0

You're right, of course: it does make sense. I just keep needing to remind myself of that. It's humbling, in a way, you know?

But I'm glad you're happy, Reira. In the end, as long as we're all happy and safe, and look out for each other ... I'm learning that's what really matters.

Learning to be happy about the right things can be really hard, so don't worry if it took you a while okay? :0 Especially since it feels like a lot of things in the world try to make you unlearn that stuff.

Or never taught them to begin with. The more I read and learn, the more I spend time thinking about it, the more I realize that's why the Goblin became a problem at all, actually.
